Last year we fully remodeled our RAMANtouch, which is Nanophoton’s main product. We have removed the large shielding box and the structure around the sample stage, making it thinner, smaller, and easier to use. It uses the same concept of our RAMANview, but the design follows that of the previous RAMANtouch. However, the biggest point is the completely new things inside. Even though the appearance has not changed, this is similar to a model change of the iPhone whose contents evolve even if the outside appearance does not change much. This time we have totally re-designed the entire optical system. Since announcing the world's first laser scanning Raman microscope in 2005, Nanophoton has been committed to upgrading its products every year to improve its functions, performance and quality. Since last year, there has been much discussion about implementing IoT into domestic appliances, but Nanophoton was already completely implementing IoT into RAMANtouch back in 2012. In the world of microscopes, I think that it is still only our company that has carried out such an implementation. When experimenters walk or talk near a microscope, they scatter dust and bacteria. Also, the experimenters serve as a heat source, and the ambient temperature around the device also changes slightly. Since Nanophoton’s Raman microscope is equipped to function as an IoT object, it can be operated from a device away from the equipment, so that the experimenter can be somewhere else and the above problem can be solved. That is, to act as part of the IoT is an indispensable function for analytical equipment. In addition, since the device can be operated in a comfortable environment anytime and anywhere, this IoT functionality also helps to raise the QOL of the experimenter. Nanophoton's spectroscopic and optical systems are unique, as well as our laser beam scanning and imaging methods. Our spectroscopic slits are also extremely specialized (and non-disclosed). The theme of Nanophoton products is of original, cutting-edge, and refined designs that are easy and non-boring to use.
Last year, the results of the British “Brexit” referendum, American presidential elections, the Colombian referendum and Philippine presidential elections all were far beyond critics’ and the media's expectations. The stock price and foreign exchange forecasts after the US presidential election also deviated from expectations. Maybe it’s that no one had been listening to what people actually thought. Nanophoton doesn’t want to listen only to existing users in the world of Raman microscopes, but also to the voices of the large number of potential users as well. For those of you who think that a Raman microscope can not be used for your project, or that a Raman microscope is hard to use, or that a Raman microscope is too expensive, please give us your opinions/ desires to Nanophoton. Please let us make products that bring the inconceivable into reality.
